An excellent opportunity for UCC students and graduates of Science, Engineering and Food Science (SEFS), to interact with alumni and hear their experiences while studying and working at UCC.

Registration is required (free). The event is open to UCC students and alumni.

Career Consultant, UCC Career Services

Deirdre Parker supports students of all levels and disciplines in through group work, career development and professional skills modules and one-to-one consultations.


Rishabh Jain

Alumni, Mechanical Engineering, 2020

Rishabh is currently working in sales at Currys PC World.


Nishmita Sood

Alumni, MSc Food Science, 2019

Nishmita now works as a NPD Food Technologist at Inno V Food Solutions.


Pooja Jayaprakash

Alumni, MSc Molecular Cell Biology and Innovation, 2016

Pooja is currently pursuing her PhD in the School of Microbiology, UCC. She is a Marie-Curie fellow in a project called “Yeastdoc” — a collaboration between University of Milan and UCC.

Pooja is the Vice President of UCC Indian Alumni Community.
