How did your time at UCC help you to get to where you are now?
I studied MSc in Analytical Chemistry from UCC and I graduated in February 2020. I am really grateful and proud that I chose UCC for my studies as it helped me in my career. Of course it was very challenging when I started but then meeting different people from different countries really helped me in developing my mindset on how to deal things in life. UCC really helped me to reach where I am now by giving me productive education and by providing internships which really helped in getting Irish work experience in my field of study.
Were you involved in any Clubs or Societies?
I participated in various extracurricular activities like in sports activities and cultural events that helped me in networking to a diverse group of people. Every person had something to offer, could be good or bad, but we always learn and this is what my life was. UCC was a constant learning process and it was a lot of fun with the wonderful people.
What are you currently working on?
Currently, I am working as an analytical scientist in Thermo Fisher Scientific, Athlone, Ireland.
